Russell David Griffith, known as ‘Russ’ by friends and family, went from a high school dropout to a earning his bachelors degree at the age of 53 while working long nights. Griffith is an example of it never being too late to pursue a career and an advanced degree.
“I quit high school because I was always getting in trouble and had no interest in going,” he said. “Our dad left us to fend for ourselves when I was about 14 and I had no dad to help me make life decisions.”
