Doors will open for economic growth in Sallisaw, city officials hope, with the sale of a 90,000-square-foot building in the Roy Frye, Jr. Industrial Park in Sallisaw.

Buddy Spencer, president of the Sallisaw Improvement Corporation (SIC), announced the sale of the building, known as the Tegrant building, on Monday. The selling price, at $435,000, is $10,000 more than the SIC paid for the building three years ago.
