Forever Friends Humane Society gets grant for canine vaccinations

Tina Holman of Sallisaw is passionate about her puppies, all rescued from death by disease, hunger or abandonment.

The rescue organization she founded, Forever Friends Humane Society, now has help in protecting her pups against canine influenza virus (CIV), a highly contagious disease that spreads easily from dog to dog, especially those in close proximity.
