Peggy Wilson Hall

May 12, 1932-July 2, 2012

Born in Roland on May 12, 1932, died on Monday, July 2, 2012, in Frisco, Texas, surrounded by her loving family.

Peggy Wilson Hall’s gusto for life was contagious during her battle with cancer. With optimism towards the future, she moved to Texas to be with her daughter and son-in-law.

Peggy had a zest for life that included her love for travel. She traveled much of the world with her husband, Bud. Her travels included a childhood dream to see Switzerland, and homes in France and Japan. During the last year of her life she fulfilled her lifelong dreams: Peggy was able to dance at her granddaughters wedding in Sonoma, Calif., and just a few weeks prior to her death she spent her final hoorah in Las Vegas.

Visitation with family and friends will be held at Edwards Funeral Home in Fort Smith, Ark., from 3 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at the Fort Smith National Cemetery, where she will rest with her husband Bud. Arrangements are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home in Fort Smith.

Peggy is survived by her daughter, Margie Hill and husband, Terry of Frisco, and her granddaughter, Jessica Pierce and husband Ty of Fort Worth, Texas; stepdaughter, Norma Burleson and husband, Wayne; stepgrandson, Brian Hopkins, all of North Carolina; a brother, Bob Wilson and wife, Ruth of Roland; sisters, Glenda Rowland, Judy Wilson and husband, Joe, of Roland, Mary Hamilton and husband, Bill of Fort Smith.
