A luncheon will follow the service. Wednesday, Dec. 23 The Lee’s Chapel Women’s group has collected and published a cookbook with over 300 recipes from past and present members. The cookbook, “Tried and True Recipes,” was written in honor of loved ones who have passed away and includes their recipes. The books may be purchased from any member and are $10. Tuesday, Jan. 5 Sequoyah County 4-H will hold a Dot Shoot Contest at 6 p.m. every Tuesday in January — Jan. 5, 12, 19 and 26 — at the Sequoyah County Fairgrounds in Sallisaw. The entry fee is $10 for 4-H youths and $15 for adults. Contestants must have five arrows each, and awards will be given for total points on each of the five nights.
