Arkansas woman injured in accident

Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP) Trooper Sheldon Dobbs reported Tara Michelle Bryant, 32, of Lavaca, Ark., was transported by Pafford EMS to St. Edward Mercy Medical Center in Fort Smith, Ark., with internal trunk injuries after the accident. Bryant was admitted and listed in stable condition.
Dobbs reported Bryant was driving her 1996 Honda west on the highway when George William Jorden, 41, of Roland, who was driving a 1996 Ford Taurus, rear-ended Bryant’s car.
Dobbs reported both drivers were wearing their seat belts and air bags deployed in the Taurus.
Dobbs reported the cause of the accident was unsafe speed.
Roland and Fort Smith police assisted Dobbs in his investigation of the accident.
