College, career fair is Monday

Sallisaw High School invites all parents and students of Sequoyah County high schools as well as eighth graders and their parents from Brushy, Marble City, and Tommie Spear Middle Schools to the annual Career and College Fair from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Monday in the Sallisaw High School commons area.

Colleges and armed service representatives will be in attendance as well as a wide variety of business people representing many different career paths.  Participants can speak one-on-one with business representatives to learn about various careers including massage therapy, health and dental careers, law enforcement, firefighting, banking and much more.  Organizers asked parents to encourage your students to attend.

The following businesses will attend, Academy of Salon and Spa, Arkansas Institute of Massage, Boys and Girls Club of Sallisaw, Brushy Lake State Park, Cherokee Nation Career Services, Cherokee Nation Higher Education, Dan George, Attorney at Law, Sequoyah County District Attorney, Dobbs Eye Clinic, First National Bank, Indian Capital Technology Center, Northeastern State University Army ROTC, Oklahoma Department of Human Services, Oklahoma Lake Patrol, People, Inc., Redbird Smith Dental Clinic, Sallisaw Fire Department, Sallisaw Police Department, Sequoyah County Sheriff’s Office, Sequoyah County Times, Sequoyah Memorial Hospital, Sisters Salon and Spa, U.S Air Force, U.S. Army, U.S. Marines, U.S. Navy, and Workforce Oklahoma.
