Anonymous tips lead Roland authorities to a possible methamphetamine lab Oct. 27.

Drew Allen Harvey, 24, of Roland was charged Nov. 3 in Sequoyah County District Court, Sallisaw, with burglary, larceny, manufacturing a controlled dangerous substance, possession of material with intent to manufacture and unlawful possession of a controlled drug with intent to distribute.

On Oct. 27 Roland Police Officer Stephen Westbrook and Assistant Chief Billy Cannon went to speak with Harvey after the two officers received an anonymous tip about Harvey possibly being involved in a recent burglary. When Cannon and Westbrook arrived Harvey told the officers he did not have anything to do with the burglary and invited them in to search his home.

According to the report officers found a possible methamphetamine lab in the kitchen and a DVD player that had been reported stolen from another residence in the living room.

Harvey is being held in the Sequoyah County Jail on a $20,000 bond.
