Veterans will benefit from job fair

A Veterans Job Fair and Business Opportunities Summit will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Feb. 16 at the Muskogee Civic Assembly Center.

The fair will open at 9:30 a.m. for veterans.

The fair will provide employment and business opportunities for veterans, and will be sponsored by the Military Order of the Purple Heart and hosted by Workforce Oklahoma, in cooperation with U.S. Rep. Dan Boren (D-Okla.), U.S. Senator Tom Coburn (R-Okla.), the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, the U.S. Small Business Administration, the U.S. Department of Labor, Northeastern State University of Tahlequah, and the Indian Capitol Technology Center.
