A variety music show, Blast from the Past, will be held at 7 p.m. on Jan. 30 at The King Opera House in Van Buren, Ark. The show features Keith Cole as Johnny Cash, Kyle Garner as Roy Orbison, our very own comedian Taylor Victory as Elmer Remle, number one Elvis tribute artist Michael Cullipher, and many more. The music barn is located a half-mile west of Sallisaw on U.S. Highway 64 behind the old Synergy Gas building. Watch for signs. The cost is $5 per person.

The River Valley Ramblers Band will perform at the Muldrow Opry, old Tasco building located at 119 E. Shawntel Smith Boulevard, at 7 p.m. every Friday. The group will perform traditional country, gospel and bluegrass music. The public is invited and admission is free.
