As a result of an ongoing investigation into the illegal distribution of controlled dangerous substances Sequoyah County, a Muldrow man was arrested on various drug-related charges Tuesday afternoon.

Danny David Coker, 57, of Muldrow was arrested on charges of possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

District 27 Drug Task Force Agents teamed up with Muldrow Police Officers, Oklahoma Highway Patrol Troopers, and Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives agents to serve a search warrant at Coker’s home in Muldrow.

DTF agents reported finding substances appearing to be methamphetamine and substances appearing to be marijuana, along with items of paraphernalia commonly associated with the use of controlled dangerous substances.

Coker was also arrested on an outstanding federal arrest warrant for drug and firearm-related charges stemming from a previous investigation. Coker’s bond was set at $6,500.
