Muldrow woman injured Saturday

A Muldrow woman was hospitalized after an accident at 5:39 a.m. Saturday north of Roland.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol Trooper Jeremy Weedon reported Helen Nicole Hoover, 22, of Muldrow was driving a 2002 Chevrolet pickup truck went on a county road when she drove off the north side of the road and hit a concrete culvert. The impact caused the truck to overturn one time.

Hoover was transported to Sparks Regional Medical Center in Fort Smith, Ark., with head, leg and trunk injuries and where she was listed in stable condition.

Angela Faye Clark, 25, and Joelene Daugherty, 26, both of Muldrow, were passengers in the truck. Clark was transported to Sparks Regional Medical Center where she was treated for head, leg and trunk injuries and released.

Daugherty was taken by private vehicle to W.W. Hastings Hospital in Tahlequah, where she was treated for head, arm and leg injuries and was released.

Weedon reported seatbelts were not in use and the airbags did deploy.
