Hale accepts UAFS scholarship

Jordan L. Hale, a senior at Roland High School, has accepted a four-year Chancellor’s Leadership Council Scholarship to the University of Arkansas at Fort Smith.

Hale is the son of Lenvel E. and Delores E. Hale of Pocola.

Hale is the senior class president, Technology Student Association president, captain of the Quiz Bowl team, a member of the Roland High School Honor Club, National Honor Society, and Future Career Community Leaders of America.

Hale was named as a Masonic Student of the Year, Student of the Month, and is on the superintendent Honor Roll. He has also served as head of community service projects and school organization fundraisers.
