Teague was charged April 16 in district court with forcible sodomy, attempted forcible sodomy, attempted first degree rape, and rape by instrumentation.
On April 13, Roland Assistant Police Chief Billy Cannon received a call from dispatch about a possible sexual assault that took place on Hillside Drive in Roland.
Cannon spoke with a woman who told him Teague had sexually assaulted her around 6 p.m. when Teague came to her residence and asked to use her telephone. Teague told the woman he couldn’t use his because his cell phone was out of minutes. The woman allowed Teague to come in and place a call on the telephone.
According to the report the victim told Cannon that after Teague used her phone she waited for him to leave but he never would. Teague allegedly became very violent, started pulling her hair and forced her to have sex with him.
The victim was taken to Sequoyah Memorial Hospital in Sallisaw for a sexual assault examination and for medical attention. An investigator with the Roland Police Department met with Teague and Teague did not deny having sex with the victim but stated it was no one else’s business.
Teague’s bond is set at $100,000 and he has not been released. As of press time his bond has not been made and he is still being held at the Sequoyah County Jail, Sallisaw.
