Graveside services for Dale E. Walters, 42, of Sallisaw, were held at 10 a.m. Monday at the Akins Cemetery, northeast of Sallisaw, with the Rev. Vernon Stone officiating, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw.

Mr. Walters was born June 13, 1967, in Sallisaw, to Donald Earl Walters and Delpha Lou (Mabry) Frost. He died Friday, July 17, 2009, in Sallisaw.

Mr. Walters was a security guard at Blue Ribbon Downs. He was of the Nazarene faith.

Survivors include two daughters, Destiny and Autumn Walters of the home; mother, Delpha Lou Frost of Sallisaw; father, Donald E. Walters of Vian; one brother, Kevin Mattingly of Sallisaw; one sister, Dena Walters of Sallisaw; two step-brothers, Johnny Mattingly of Wister and Brian Mattingly of Sallisaw; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
