After a rough start in District 4A-4 play, the Muldrow Bulldogs are in a must-win situation as they head to Tulsa to take on Webster Thursday night.

Muldrow is 3-3 overall and 0-3 in the league. The Bulldogs desperately need a victory to keep their hopes alive for reaching the playoffs for the fourth-straight year.

A year ago, the Bulldogs cruised to a 41-18 win over Webster and they’ll be looking to dupiclate that result on Thursday. Webster is 2-4 on the season, but the Warriors have dropped their past four games and are 0-3 in the district.

Muldrow’s statistical leaders after six games include Donathan Caudill, J.P. Hill and Dillon Oden.

Caudill is Muldrow's leading passer and rusher. He has completed 35 of 73 passes for 497 yards and six touchdowns and rushed 76 times for 357 yards and four TDs. Quarterback Trevon Fowler returned from an injury to pass for 125 yards last week in his first action of the season.

Hill paces the Bulldog receivers with 11 catches for 173 yards and Tanner Ryan is next with 10 for 128.

Oden leads the MHS defense with 70 tackles from his linebacker position. Chris Banderas is next in tackles with 46, followed by Jordan Kalua (39), Ryan (36), Caudill (29) and Devon Taylor (22). Jake Peterson has a team-high five interceptions.

After an experiment that lasted several months, the editors at Your TIMES decided this week to end the practice of allowing anonymous comments on our website because most of the comments involve personal attacks and unfounded accusations. These comments do not add information to a story, or add any true insight. While we believe in the free exchange of ideas, it had become evident that was not what was happening in the comment section of our website. Readers can also become fans of Your TIMES on Facebook and may comment on our postings there. Readers are also encouraged to write letters to the editor to the newspaper about matters of public interest. The newspaper circulation is several times that of the web site, so readership is much higher. Letters must include a name and phone number so that we may contact the writer to verify authenticity of the letter. Letters are limited to 500 words and one letter per writer per month is accepted.
