Flu shot clinic schedule announced

The schedule for H1N1 Flu Shot Clinics has been announced for the following area county health departments:

—Sequoyah County Health Department in Sallisaw, from 9 to 11 a.m. and 1 to 4 p.m. on Wednesdays

—Muskogee County Health Department, from 8 to 11 a.m. and 1 to 4 p.m. on Mondays and Fridays

—Wagoner County Health Department in Coweta, from 8:30 to 11 a.m. and 1 to 4 p.m. on Tuesdays

—Wagoner County Health Department in Wagoner, from 8:30 to 11 a.m. and 1 to 4 p.m. on Thursdays

Linda Hattaway, health departments administrator, said the schedule will also apply for seasonal flu shots as seasonal flu vaccine becomes available.

Hattaway said, “All Oklahomans who want to reduce their risk of infection are now eligible to receive H1N1 influenza vaccine and seasonal flu vaccine.”
