Funeral services for Johnny Wayne Renfro, 80, of Darien, Ga., formerly of Sallisaw, are being held at 12:00 p.m. Thursday at the Assembly of God Church in Webbers Falls with Rev. Jim Murphy officiating.

Burial is in Fleetwood Cemetery east of Sallisaw, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw.

Mr. Renfro was born March 12, 1925 in Sallisaw, to Clyde Julius Renfro and Julianne (Burns) Renfro. He died May 19, 2005 in Darien.

Mr. Renfro was a real estate developer and a member of Live Oak Masonic Lodge 138 F. and A.M. He was of the protestant faith.

Survivors include his wife, Lynda Carol McCosker Renfro of the home; two sons, Jimmy Ray Renfro of Hindsville, Ga. and Wayne Renfro, Jr. of Nashville, Tenn.; two step-sons, Michael Maulden of Darien and John Maulden of Charleston, S.C.; five grandchildren, Austin and Ashley Renfro of Nashville, Justin and Brooke Maulden of Darien, and Ian Maulden of Charleston; three sisters, Hazel Parker and Wylene Welch, both of Tulsa and Carol Childers of Sallisaw.

Pallbearers are Ronnie Joe Choate, Larry C. Choate, Melvin Wayne Burns, Troy Wayne Poteete, Tim Poteete and Carey Renfro.
