GORE - Gore trailed by as many as 21 points on Tuesday night, but the Pirates roared back to grab a 66-63 win over Vian in Big Eight Conference play at Brooks Cawhorn Gym.

Devan Rineheart powered the comeback with 32 points, including a dozen in the fourth quarter. The senior also grabbed 12 rebounds to finish with a double-double, while teammate Logan Andrews had another 15 points and 13 rebounds. Dylan Humphrey and Ethan James both added seven points for the Pirates.

Dylan Taylor paced Vian 19 points.

Gore, which is ranked 14th in Class 2A, improved to 14-4 overall.

Roland 62, Poteau 43 (B)

ROLAND - The Rangers avenged a loss from the previous week as four players scored in double figures on Tuesday night against Poteau.

Trenton Castleberry led the way with 16 points for Roland, while Dougie Webster had 15, Trey Chambers 14 and Caleb Daniel 12.

The balanced scoring attack helped the Rangers run their record to 15-4 overall and 4-2 in the NOAA conference.

Poteau slipped to 11-5 and 3-3 with the loss.

Roland 62, Poteau 38 (G)

ROLAND - The Lady Rangers jumped out to a 10-point lead in the first quarter and went on to claim the NOAA conference victory over Poteau on Tuesday night.

Samantha Barnes pumped in a game-high 22 points for Roland. She was joined in double figures by teammates Caitlin Goode with 13 and Summer Teehee with 12.

Poteau got 19 frm Courtney Allison while dropping to 4-13 and 2-4. Roland is now 11-8 overall and 4-2 in the league.

Vian 66, Gore 23 (G)

GORE - Rachael Sanders pumped in 15 points for Vian as the Lady Wolverines rolled to a Big Eight Conference win at Gore on Tuesday night.

Gore got six points from Kelsi Brooks.

Webbers Falls 65, Braggs 43 (B)

WEBBERS FALLS - Dakota Shipley and Chad Dandridge combined for 47 points on Tuesday night to guide the Warriors to a Riverside Conference win.

Shipley netted 24 and Dandridge had 23 for Webbers Falls, which improved to 12-8 on the season.

Juan Diaz scored 13 to pace Braggs.

Braggs 85, Webbers Falls 83 (G)

WEBBERS FALLS - Alisha Smith poured in 32 points for the Lady Warriors, but they came up just short against Braggs on Tuesday night.

Webbers Falls got another 13 from Shelby Martin and 11 each from Katie Smith and Amber Hasting.

Hailey Bias netted 20 for Braggs.

Hulbert 61, Vian 59 (G)

VIAN - Paiten Taylor fired in 33 points on Monday night to lead Class 2A 18th-ranked Hulbert past the Lady Wolverines in a game that was snowed out on the previous Friday.

Taylor was joined in double figures by Allison Arnall with 15 points as Hulbert improved to 12-5 with the Big Eight Conference win.

Vian trailed by seven in the fourth quarter before a late comeback bid came up just short.

Leiloni Smith paced the Lady Wolverines with 22 points, while Kiona O’Neal dropped in another 17 and Rachael Sanders had 10.
