Couple United In Marriage In Eureka Springs, Ark.

Ashley Taylor Matthews and Kregg Mitchell Talburt were united in marriage on July 23 at Blue Springs Heritage Center in Eureka Springs, Ark. The Rev. Jean Boles officiated at the ceremony.

A reception was held on Aug. 6 at Elks Lodge in Tahlequah and was hosted by the couple's parents.

The bride is the daughter of Deborah Matthews of Sallisaw and the late Carl Matthews. She is the granddaughter of Alpha McKinney and the late Wayne McKinney and the late Mr. and Mrs. Troy Matthews.

She graduated from Sallisaw High School and Northeastern State University in Tahlequah. She is a speech-language pathologist with Tahlequah Public Schools.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Talburt of Ketchum. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Talburt and the late Mr. and Mrs. Everet Davis.

He graduated from Tahlequah High School and attended Connors State College in Warner and Cowley County Community College. He is an operator with Northeast Rural Services.

The couple resides in Tahlequah.
