Students selected as EOBDA Honor Band members

Members of the Sallisaw High School band who were selected as members of the Eastern Oklahoma Band Directors Association High School Honor Band recently participated in a one-day clinic at Stigler High School. The clinic was under the direction of Charles Booker, University of Arkansas at Fort Smith director of bands. After the clinic the honor band performed in concert that evening, Brent Evans, Sallisaw band director, said. Band members are, from the left in front, Jay Calhoun, Kyle Garner, Ashley Singleton, Chris Starnes, Jennifer Hubler, Eric Sizemore, Amber Richardson, Bryan Dugan, and Randi Kennedy. In the second row from the left are Donavon Baldridge, Alix Oliver-Gibson, Max Knoke, Derek Netz, Sarah Rowe, Amber Currier, Casey Weaver, Aaron Taylor, Tyler Wilson, and Suzi Land.
