Wylie P. and Wanda Cole of Sallisaw celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception held on Dec. 31 at the Apostolic Church in Sallisaw, hosted by their children, John Cole, Kim Phillipo and Melissa Cottrell.
The couple was married Dec. 30, 1953, in Tahlequah, by the Rev. Alyn K. Fleming.
The couple also have six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Mr. Cole is retired. Mrs. Cole is a homemaker.
