Springwaters will celebrate 60th anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. Henry Springwater of Gans will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary at a reception planned from 2 to 4 p.m. April 19 at the Gans Bible Church.

The family invites all friends and family members to attend, and the couple requests no gifts please.

The Springwaters were married on April 23, 1948, in Van Buren, Ark. Mrs. Springwater, the former Mildred Rogers of Gans, is retired from Gans School where she was cafeteria manager for 36 years.

Henry Springwater, who is better known as Junior, is retired from Forge Craft in Fort Smith, Ark., where he worked for 42 years as an inspector.

The couple has one son and daughter-in-law, Dwain and Judy Springwater of Gans, and one grandson, Jason Springwater of Gans.
