District 27 Drug Task Force agents teamed up with Sequoyah County Sheriff's deputies to serve a search warrant on a residence north of Muldrow Tuesday. A task force spokesman said that during the search, agents reported finding chemicals and equipment commonly used in the manufacture of methamphetamine. They also reported finding substances appearing to be methamphetamine and marijuana, along with items of paraphernalia commonly associated with the distribution and use of controlled dangerous substances. Firearms were also found during the search, agents reported.
Arrested were Carl Hendricks and Michelle Hendricks, both of Muldrow.
Carl Hendricks, 38, was booked into the Sequoyah County Jail on charges of manufacturing a controlled dangerous substance, possession of a controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of a firearm in commission of a felony, possession of a police scanner in commission of a felony, maintaining a residence where controlled dangerous substances are kept or sold, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Michelle Hendricks, 44, was booked into the county jail on charges of manufacturing a controlled dangerous substance, possession of a controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of a firearm in commission of a felony, possession of a police scanner in commission of a felony, maintaining residence where controlled dangerous substances are kept or sold, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
As of Wednesday morning both Carl Hendricks and Michelle Hendricks were being held without bond.
