A reception to honor Butch and Sue Leininger on their 50th wedding anniversary will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. on Aug. 5th at Eastside Free Will Baptist Church in Muldrow. The couple was married on August 9, 1957, in Waldron, Michigan. They have lived in Muldrow since 1978, after moving from Pettisville, Ohio.

Butch worked for Armbruster Stageway in Fort Smith, Ark., for 10 years then opened B & B Restorations in Muldrow with his son. He retired in 2002. Sue worked for Rockmount Shirt Factory in Fort Smith for several years and is now retired.

The couple's children include Debbie Fitzsimmons of Shawnee and Butch and Melinda Leininger of Muldrow. They have five grandchildren, Tiffany Carter, Heather Fitzsimmons of Shawnee, and Josh, Jonathan, and Kristen Leininger, all of Muldrow; and two great-grandchildren, Jewel and Gunner Leininger of Muldrow.
