Does it not seem strange that pit bulldogs, which have been here as long as we have, are all of a sudden attacking people?
I'm not questioning the truth of the attacks. I'm saying someone needs to ask why (out of nowhere) are these attacks happening and do something about that, instead of taking family pets away from good, loving homes. Some people drug these dogs which fries their brains, just like it does humans, but they also fight them which just adds more psychological problems. This makes some mentally and biologically messed up dogs. Then on top off that there is a lot of inbreeding and selling of the puppies, which the people buying usually do not know about. Then again there are some people who buy pit bulls to be guard dogs and they do mean things to train them to be very vicious dogs. These dogs are loyal and loving if treated and raised right (which all dogs should be), but there seems to be little of that left for these wonderful animals. Instead of punishing good pit bulldogs and their families to stop the problem, someone should stop the fighting, drugging, excessive inbreeding, and selling of these dogs that are a part of history as far back as you can research. If they can find the people that fight chickens then they can find the people that fight dogs. It seems to be a lot more dangerous for people to fight dogs than chickens. I have not heard of any deadly attacks by fighting chickens.
