Funeral services for Elberta Mae London Johnston, 96, of Muldrow, are being held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Lee Creek Assembly of God Church in Muldrow with Rev. Sheila Jones officiating.

Burial is in the Seabolt Cemetery, in Muldrow, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Muldrow.

Mrs. Johnston was born June 11, 1911, in Ole Remy, to Tine London and Gertrude (Riddle) London. She died Sunday, Jan. 6, 2008, in Muldrow.

Mrs. Johnston was a homemaker and of the Assembly of God faith.

Survivors include one daughter, Joyce Criner of Tennessee; three sons, Gene London of Sallisaw, Jeral London of Akins, and Jerry London of Muldrow; 16 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Herschel Claphan, two sisters, Barbara Benge and Trudy Tabor and one brother, Arthur London.

Pallbearers are Bruce Tabor, Richard Tabor, Steve London, Dan London, Wendell Criner, Darroll London, Calvin Harvey and Chris Turner.

Honorary pallbearers are Wallace London, Fred Tabor, Bill London, and Eugene McAnnally.
