Lockhart sank four three-point bombs in the second half to keep the Diamonds close and Jobe finished off the Warriors by knocking down four free shots in the final seconds. The result was a 51-46 victory in the consolation semifinals of the Armstrong Bank Sequoyah County Tournament.
Those shots helped Sallisaw turn back a determined effort from Webbers Falls, the smallest school in the tourney field.

Lockhart buried his second try of the quarter to give Sallisaw a brief lead before Cody Carter's put-back brought Webbers Falls even for the last time at 45-45 with 1:45 to go.
James Hoover's basket put the Diamonds in front, but they weren't able to ice the win until the final moments when Webbers Falls was whistled for a flagrant foul and head coach Sean Dandridge was assessed a technical while disputing the call.
Jobe stepped to the line and made all four free throws with :06 remaining to seal the win for Sallisaw (4-4).
Lockhart and Hoover finished with 12 points apiece to lead Sallisaw and the two combined for all seven of the Diamonds' three-point baskets. Trevor Teel added nine points. Jobe had six, all from the line, and Stephen Branham scored six points as well.
Webbers Falls got all of its scoring from its starters with Webb leading the way with 13. Senior forward Cody Carter had a double-double of 10 points and 11 rebounds, while Cory Mickles added 10 points, Derek Dandridge seven and Ethan Morton six.
The Warriors held a 33-17 advantage on the boards as Morton grabbed another eight rebounds and Webb had seven. Webbers Falls was especially effective on the glass in the second quarter, going on a 13-0 run to take its biggest lead of the game at 26-17.
Sallisaw closed the half with a 6-0 run of its own and pulled within 26-23 when Jobe dished to Trevor Teague for a lay-up at the buzzer.
With the win, Sallisaw moved into the consolation championship game. The Diamonds were scheduled to play Gore for fifth place at 8 p.m. Friday in Muldrow.

Gore 54, Gans 42 (Boys)
MULDROW - Gans was sitting pretty at halftime, but then the Gore Pirates caught fire.
