WEBBERS FALLS - Ryan Vanderpool had a big night for the Webbers Falls boys as they celebrated homecoming with a 55-45 win over Kinta on Friday.
Vanderpool pumped in a game-high 28 points and single-handedly outscored the visitors in the fourth quarter while netting all 16 of the Warriors' points over the final eight minutes.
Cody Carter led the Warriors on the boards with 12 rebounds while guard Derek Dandridge dished out eight steals. Both players finished with eight points for Webbers Falls, which moved to 7-6 on the season and 5-1 in the Riverside Athletic Conference.
The Warriors opened up a 15-8 lead in the first quarter and extended their advantage to 10 by halftime. Kinta pulled within 39-31 by the start of the fourth, but Vanderpool bombed in four three-point baskets down the stretch to keep Webbers Falls in front.

WEBBERS FALLS - The Lady Warriors blew the game open with a 19-8 run in the fourth quarter on Friday night to collect the homecoming victory.
Webbers Falls improved to 7-6 in all games and 5-1 in the Riverside Athletic Conference as four players scored in double figures.
Amy Spears led the way with 19 points for the Lady Warriors. Nicole Turley added 14, Sarah Humphrey 14 and Ali Morton 10.
Kinta was led by Whitney Watson's 24 points.
Keys 44, Gore 38 (Girls)
GORE - The Lady Pirates kept pace with Keys up until the third quarter, when the Lady Cougars took control with a 14-4 spurt.
That surge handed Keys a 36-27 lead and sent the Lady Cougars on the way to the Big Eight Conference win.
Gore was paced by Heather Andrews' 13 points while Brooke Montgomery added another 10.
Keys moved to 6-3 in the league and 9-8 overall as Lindsey Henry netted 11 points and Lyndsey Lawrence 10.
Keys 47, Gore 40 (Boys)
GORE - The Cougars ran their record to 15-1, but not before a tough challenge from Gore on Friday night.
Josh Caudle poured in a game-best 21 points for the Pirates, who were within four points at the start of the fourth quarter before Keys pulled away. Terry Robinson paced Keys with 16 points while Jayson Steeley had 10.
Vian 44, Warner 36 (Boys)
WARNER - The Wolverines trailed at halftime, but used a 10-5 spurt in the third quarter to grab the lead for good on Friday night.
Timmy Hart led Vian with 15 points while Vfastv Locust had 11 and Ryan Taylor eight. David Merrill scored 11 to pace Warner in the Big Eight Conference clash.
Webbers Falls 38, Midway 33 (Girls)
WEBBERS FALLS - The Lady Warriors opened Saturday's game with an 11-2 run and went on to collect another Riverside Athletic Conference win.
Now 8-6 overall and 6-1 in the league, Webbers Falls was led by 12 points from Ali Morton and seven each from Nicole Turley and Sarah Humphrey.
