In regards to James Cheatwood, as a citizen of Sallisaw, my advice is for the law and judges to get tough on these crooks, and maybe there wouldn't be so many crooks.
People who work hard for a living have a ... time replacing their stolen goods, and some of us don't make $100,000 a year. Lucky if we make enough to live on.
If the DA and the law won't do anything for you, contact a higher source. If that doesn't do any good, then do what you have to do to protect you and your family. The criminal will get the idea. And if the law isn't going to do anything but slap these crooks on the hand to start with, that's what's wrong with our law now. The persons being robbed or killed or raped, what ever the case may be, gets treated as the criminal and the ... crooks go free.
What kind of law do we have? My question is where are the victim's rights? Instead of the crooks, these thugs have more rights than the victims have. We have got to have law people send all these hard-core criminals to Iraq, and they may change their way of thinking here in the USA.
And that is if they make it back alive. These judges need to crack down on these crooks instead of saying it's OK, just don't do it again, or give paper time probation time and fined. No offense meant to any one person or persons. We can vote in new law or judges if we don't like who is in office now.
I would like to thank County Commissioner Mike Huff and his crew for fixing our road and for getting on it right away. Thank you!
