DA's Auction Is March 12

The third annual District 27 Drug Task Force Gun Auction will be held beginning at 10 a.m. March 12 at the Wagoner Civic Center.

The auction is sponsored by District Attorney Richard Gray, and will offer items seized and forfeited during investigations held throughout the four counties in District 27 - Sequoyah, Wagoner, Adair and Cherokee Counties.

At 9 a.m. potential buyers will be able to check the guns they are considering purchasing. The sale will be held at the Wagoner Civic Center, one block east of State Hwy. 51 and U.S. Highway 69. Signs will direct buyers to the sale.

The auction includes about 150 firearms, several cars and trucks, tools including a chainsaw, guitars, several old coins and a $1,000 bill.
