The forum will be lead by members of his staff, Carson announced in a press release issued Wednesday.
The forum is open to the public and will address Carson's pending legislation on control of pseudoephedrine and his work in U.S. Congress in the battle against methamphetamine. Pseudoephedrine, an over-the-counter drug, is used in the manufacture of methamphetamine.
The forum will include law enforcement and other community leaders discussing ways to work together to combat this epidemic, Carson said.
"In order to effectively combat the growing methamphetamine epidemic we must work together. That is why I am seeking input from the communities in my district about how we can curb the threat this dangerous drug poses to all Oklahomans," Carson said.
