The classes will meet for 10 weeks.
The Cherokee Nation Cultural Resource Center, which is sponsoring the classes, provides services and information that work to revitalize Cherokee language and heritage. The language course is a part of a culture and history initiative that will help to preserve the Cherokee language.
The language courses are open to the public and will allow more people an opportunity to learn the Cherokee language.
