Richard Gray, Sequoyah County district attorney, announced that bench warrants were ordered to be issued by the presiding judge for those who failed to appear as summoned. The eight non-custodial parents for whom warrants were issued are:
*Johnny Sinden - owes $5,000
*Jerry Jones - owes $2,400
*Scott Hanshew - owes $900
*Lisa Fargo - $5,200
*David Briggs - $20,000
*David Briggs - $15,000
*Dene Birchfield - $775
*Lee Roy Allen - $5,100
Gray encourages those who have a bench warrant issued for their arrest, or anyone who knows of someone on this list, to contact the office as soon as possible. Gray said he will work with non-custodial parents to devise a payment plan.

The office is located at 1611 S. Kerr Blvd. in Sallisaw and is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Anyone owing child support is encouraged to call (800) 522-2922 or contact the local office in Sallisaw to make payment arrangements.
