Funeral services for JoAnn Phelps Prewett, 67, of Muldrow, are being held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Short Baptist Church with Rev. Dale Phelps officiating.

Burial is in Seabolt Cemetery, in Muldrow, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Muldrow.

Mrs. Prewett was born Sept. 24, 1940, in Short, to Frank Claude Phelps and Nannie Ruth (Vann) Phelps. She died Wednesday, March 12, 2008, in Fort Smith, Ark.

Mrs. Prewett was a homemaker and a 1959 graduate of Muldrow High School. She was a member of Short Baptist Church.

She married Jimmie Harold Prewett, Oct. 25, 1963, in Stilwell. He preceded her in death, Sept. 18, 1996, in Fort Smith.

Survivors include one daughter, Patti Prewett of Muldrow; one son, Rodney Prewett of Muldrow; one step-daughter, Kimmie Voss of Prattville, Ala.; two special children, Natalie and Cody Fullbright; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Ada Ross and Morene Shaver both of Muldrow; one brother, Otis Joe Phelps of Short; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by one sister, Judy Fanning, four brothers, Bernell Phelps, Manuel Phelps, Dorman Phelps and Melvin Gay Phelps.

Pallbearers are Claude Phelps, Rance Shaver, David Phelps, Danny Phelps, Darrin Phelps, Chris Waters, Wendell Phelps and Cody Fullbright.

Honorary pallbearers are the Muldrow class of 1959.
