The awards will be presented at the Sallisaw Masonic Lodge at 109 E. Redwood St.
Certificates will be awarded to the following students:

Marble City School - Juan Tarin and Donna Ramirez.
Central Elementary School - Jacklyn Jiles and Blake Rogers.
Central Middle School - Elizabeth Cooksey and Michael Endekas.
Central High School - Kim Urban and Seth Lattimore.
Vian Elementary School - Victoria Hohrman and Jess Locust.
Vian Middle School - Stacy Jackson and Emanuel Drew.
Vian High School - Heath Eubanks and Kara Park.
Sallisaw Elementary School - Alex Pierce and Russell Kennedy.
Sallisaw Middle School - Jacob Bartel and Randi Kennedy.
Sallisaw High School - Lana Reed and Seth Cox.
Teachers being honored are Cathy Willis of Brushy School; Beverly Honeycutt of Marble City School; Janice Neal of Central Elementary School; Karen Moore of Central Middle School; Melissa Chapman of Central High School; Marilyn Oliver of Vian Elementary School; Vic Harris of Vian Middle School; Bob Bloomer of Vian High School; Leilani Fullbright of Sallisaw Elementary School; Jo Cox of Sallisaw Middle School; and Larry Halpain of Sallisaw High School.
Bill Stavely, lodge member, said the selection of students for the award is based on stewardship, citizenship and leadership. Teachers are selected by their peers.
State Rep. Glen "Bud" Smithson (D-Sallisaw) will be the speaker.
Refreshments will be served after the program, Stavely said.
