A total of 17 council seats as well as the offices of principal chief and deputy principal chief will be on the ballot. A runoff election, if needed for any of the offices, is scheduled for July 28.
Those candidates running for the various offices and council seats are as follows:
-Principal Chief: Chad Smith (incumbent) and Stacy Leeds.
-Deputy Principal Chief: Joe Grayson Jr. (incumbent) and Raymond Vann.
-District 1: Seat 1 - Bill John Baker (incumbent) and Barbara Dawes Martens; Seat 2 - Audra Smoke-Conner (incumbent), Tina Glory Jordan, Amon A. Baker and David Walkingstick.
-District 2: Seat 1 - S. Joe Crittenden (incumbent) and Rita Bunch. Seat 2 - Jackie Bob Martin (incumbent), Ronnie Joe Hale, Jack L. Christie and Jodie Fishinghawk.
-District 3 (Sequoyah County): Seat 1 - David W. Thornton Sr. (incumbent) and Sam Ed Bush Jr.; Seat 2 - Phyllis A. Yargee (incumbent) and Janelle Lattimore Fullbright.
-District 4: Seat 1 - Don Garvin (incumbent) and Mickey Igert.
-District 5: Seat 1 - Melvina Shotpouch (incumbent), Harley Buzzard and Susan Lamb Reed; Seat 2 - Linda Hughes O'Leary (incumbent) and Curtis G. Snell.
-District 6: Seat 1 - Jerry Dale Troglin, Sue Fine and Chris Soap. Seat 2 - Meredith A. Frailey (incumbent) and Gary R. Keener.
-District 7: Seat 1 - Cara Cowan-Watts (incumbent) and Thelda Rucker Boen.
-District 8: Seat 1 - Buel Anglin (incumbent) and Roy Herman; Seat 2 - Bradley Cobb and Stephen D. Earley.
-District 9: Seat 1 - Rodney Lay and Chuck Hoskin Jr.
-At-Large: Seat 1 - Taylor Keen (incumbent) and Julia Coates; Seat 2 - Jack D. Baker (incumbent) and Sean Nordwall.
