Earl Caudle was sentenced to five years in prison after striking a plea agreement for a variety of crimes, including possession of controlled dangerous substance in the presence of a child under the age of 12 and possession of paraphernalia.
Gray said Caudle was arrested after the Roland Police Department received tips that illegal drug activity was taking place at Caudle's home in Roland. Officers found methamphetamine and paraphernalia, including syringes in Caudle's home. Caudle had previously been convicted of drug charges in 2001.
