A Gore man was charged in Sequoyah County District Court in Sallisaw Thursday with multiple felony counts in connection with an alleged rape and child sexual abuse.

According to court records, William Earl McKinley, 42, is facing charges of first-degree rape, forcible sodomy, child sexual abuse, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, and a misdemeanor count of domestic abuse assault and battery.

Gore police reported that they were dispatched to the McKinley home at 3:45 a.m. March 8. Upon arrival, officers were directed to the home next door, where witnesses told police that McKinley had beaten the victim and was threatening the family.

Police reported that the victim told police that she was tied up, beaten, and forced to have sex with McKinley at gunpoint. She told police that she was then forced to perform oral sex on McKinley in front of a male juvenile before then being forced to perform oral sex on the juvenile, court records indicate. The alleged victim also told police that she was punched and hit several times during the assault.

A felony warrant was issued Thursday for McKinley's arrest. He is to be held on no bond until he appears before a judge, according to court records.
