Funeral services for Randolph Darrell Smith, 50, of Poteau, are being held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Evans Chapel of Memories in Poteau with Rev. B.J. Barnes officiating, under the direction of Evans and Miller Funeral Home of Poteau.

Mr. Smith was born Jan. 12, 1956, in Poteau. He died Friday, Feb. 24, 2006, in Poteau.

Mr. Smith was a Baptist and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He enjoyed spending time with his daughter August and his grandson, Layton.

Survivors include one son, Aaron Smith; one daughter, August House; one grandson, Layton Smith; father, Clifford Smith all of Poteau; sisters and brothers-in-law, Marie and Bob McCroskey of Poteau, Nancy and Lewis Johnson of Amarillo, Texas and Cecelia and Ray Vermillion of Wister; brother and sister-in-law, Arnold and Kay Smith of Sallisaw; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy "Dotty" (Barnes) Smith, one son, Christopher Smith and his mother Juanita Smith.
