Bullys Runaway, a 2-year-old brown gelding owned by Jesus Alfredo and Sandra Soto of Sallisaw, captured first place in the $75,000 New Mexican Spring Fling at Sunland Park in New Mexico recently.

Ridden by Esgar Ramirez and trained by Benjamin P. Torres, Bullys Runaway covered the 300 yards in 15.421. Behind him in order of finish were Mission Dash, That Blazin Chick, Lucky Fran and Poppys The Daddy.
