Funeral services for Rev. Harold T. Walters, 65, of Muldrow, are being held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Fellowship Baptist Church in Nicut with Rev. Kenneth Walters officiating.

Burial is in Walters Family Cemetery in Nicut, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw.

Mr. Walters was born Jan. 28, 1942, in Fillmore, Calif., to Ted J. Walters and Irma J. (Hagan) Walters. He died Monday, April 2, 2007, in Stilwell.

Mr. Walters was a self-employed laborer and ordained minister. He attended Westark and was of the Baptist faith.

He married Julie Jones, April 20 1962, in Stilwell.

Survivors include his wife, Julie of the home; one son, Matthew James Coleman of Nicut; five foster children, Billy, Joy, Connie, Daniel, and Samuel; three grandchildren, Hannah, Ellie, and Raven; one nephew, Greg Walters of Nicut; and several cousins and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Wayne.

Pallbearers are Billy Jones, Daniel Coleman, Samuel Coleman, Matt Coleman, Jerry Qualls, Duane Maxwell, and Jacob Catron.

Honorary pallbearers are Greg Walters, Elmer Workman, Vernon Russell, Bob Anglen, Paul Brown, and L.E. Qualls.
