The court clerk and the county clerk are two different positions. The Association of County Commissioners of Oklahoma offers the following explanation of the duties of the court clerk and county clerk.
The county clerk's functions include the following:
Custodian of records for the county.
Registrar of deeds.
The county's purchasing agent.
Assists in the preparation of the budget.
Prepares county warrants, including payroll.
Writes monthly remittance warrants to cities, towns, and school districts for their shares of the tax revenues.
Records all appropriations and expenditures for each county office or department.
Acts as secretary to the board of county commissioners.

All proceedings of the district court in the county must be public and permanent, so the court clerk's primary responsibility is to record these actions and transfer the permanent records to the courts.
The court clerk:
Keeps the appearance docket, trial docket, execution docket and a journal for the district court.
Delivers habeas corpus writs to the sheriff.
Furnishes full transcripts of any court proceeding.
Endorses all injunctions.
Collects all court costs.
Issues marriage licenses.
Keeps record of all jurors and witnesses.
