Graveside services for Wanda Ruth Shelton, 63, of Sallisaw, are being held at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Maple Cemetery north of Muldrow, with the Rev. Eugene Kester officiating, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw.

She was born on April 9, 1941, in Carthage, Mo., to Richard Raymond Morris and Dorothy Lucille Martindale. She died on Sunday, July 4, 2004, in Sallisaw.

Mrs. Shelton was a former school bus driver for Sallisaw Public Schools and of the Baptist faith.

She married Eddie M. Shelton on May 2, 1998, in Van Buren, Ark. He preceded her in death on May 20, 2001.

Survivors include five daughters, Linda Allen of Muldrow, Mary Risinger and Brenda Rolston, both of Sallisaw, Nancy Shine of Orlando, Fla., and Carla Anderson of Wisconsin; 23 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one sister, Opal Morris of Vian; one brother, Richard Dale Morris of Vian; one step-son, Mike Shelton of Fort Smith, Ark.; and several other relatives and friends.
