A Fort Smith, Ark., man was injured Friday morning after his vehicle went off the road and struck a tree just west of the Arkansas-Oklahoma state line.
According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP), Timothy Graham, 46, was driving a 1989 Ford truck on State Highway 101 less than a mile west of the Arkansas state line in Sequoyah County when the accident occurred at about 9:23 a.m.
Graham, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was traveling east when he went off the left side of the road for an unknown reason and struck a tree, the OHP reported.
He was taken to Summit Medical Center in Van Buren, Ark., where he was listed in stable condition with head and internal injuries.
The cause of the accident was not listed by the OPHP.
