Various government offices and town and city halls across Sequoyah County will be closed Monday for Memorial Day.

The Sequoyah County Courthouse will be closed Monday. The Sequoyah County Commissioners will hold their weekly meeting at 10 a.m. Tuesday.

All area post offices will be closed Monday with no delivery, including post offices in Gans, Gore, Marble City, Moffett, Muldrow, Roland, Sallisaw, Vian, and Webbers Falls.

Stanley Tubbs Memorial Library in Sallisaw will be closed Monday. The Muldrow Public Library will be closed Monday and Tuesday since the library is normally closed on Mondays.

Town halls in Sallisaw, Muldrow, Roland, Moffett, Vian, Gore, and Webbers Falls will be closed Monday.

Sallisaw's and Muldrow's trash pickup will be Tuesday. In Roland, Gore, Vian, and Moffett, trash pick up will run as scheduled.

A special memorial service is planned in Webbers Falls at 1 p.m. at the town park for the families of the victims of the 2002 Interstate 40 bridge collapse.
