Funeral services for Florine Scarborough, 68, of Vian, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the Vian High School Auditorium with Pastors T.D. Drew, Mack Jackson and Nate Crawford officiating.

Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery in Vian, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw.

Mrs. Scarborough was born Feb. 28, 1938, in Vian, to Sam Scarborough and Eunice (Drew) Scarborough. She died Sunday, April 9, 2006, in Fort Smith, Ark.

Mrs. Scarborough was a retired cafeteria cook for Vian Schools and a member of the Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Vian.

Survivors include four daughters, Trilba Williams of Muldrow, Phillis Scarborough of Ft. Worth, Texas, Lynette of Wichita, Kan., and Beverly Shaw of Roland; four sons, Donald Scarborough and Cornelius Dickson both of Vian, Darrin Scarborough of Fort Smith, and Anthony Scarborough of Midwest City; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Maxine Birch of Tulsa and Rosie Jones of Vian; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Nellie Shade and Inez Folsom, three brothers, Sam Scarborough, Jr., Chester Scarborough and Robert Scarborough.

Pallbearers will be Joe Shade, Jack Bangs, Louis Bland, Jack Moseley, Lavern Dockery, and William Dickson.

Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Williams, Tevin Knight, Leon Shade, Jamelle Youngblood, Avery Scarborough, Kenneth Shade, Archie Folson and Chris Jones.
