Lois Folks retired from Liberty Elementary School in Sallisaw in May but is thinking about going back as a Foster Grandparent in August.

"I retired this year, but I don't think it has sunk in yet. It probably will in August when school starts back," Folks said.

"I was an educator assistant. I worked with the transition classes in the computer room every day," Folks said. "The teachers I worked with were wonderful and I am going to miss them."

Folks said she has worked at the school for 32 years. "When we first moved here I worked at Phoenix Federal. I would go into Dodson's Caf
