Three Muldrow residents and a Sallisaw man were arrested on various drug charges at a Liberty home, located north of Muldrow, Tuesday morning.

Sequoyah County Sheriff Johnny Philpot said during a search of the home, sheriff's deputies and investigators found substances appearing to be marijuana and methamphetamine, along with items of paraphernalia commonly associated with the use and distribution of controlled dangerous substances (CDS).

Investigators reported the home is located within 2,000 feet of Liberty School, and there was a four-year-old child present at the home when the search warrant was served. The child was released into the custody of family members.

Donald William House, 52, of Sallisaw, and Charles Albert Reed, 21, Kenneth Charles Reed, 25, and Amber Dawn House, 20, all of Muldrow, were arrested and booked into the Sequoyah County Jail in Sallisaw on various charges.

All four were booked on charges of possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of a CDS in the presence of a child under 12, possession of CDS within 2,000 feet of a public school, possession of a CDS, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Jail records indicated Thursday that Donald House is being held on a $100,000, Charles Reed is being held on a $60,000 bond, Kenneth Reed is being held on a $250,000 bond, and Amber House is being held on a $40,000 bond.

After an experiment that lasted several months, the editors at Your TIMES decided this week to end the practice of allowing anonymous comments on our website because most of the comments involve personal attacks and unfounded accusations. These comments do not add information to a story, or add any true insight. While we believe in the free exchange of ideas, it had become evident that was not what was happening in the comment section of our website. Readers can also become fans of Your TIMES on Facebook and may comment on our postings there. Readers are also encouraged to write letters to the editor to the newspaper about matters of public interest. The newspaper circulation is several times that of the web site, so readership is much higher. Letters must include a name and phone number so that we may contact the writer to verify authenticity of the letter. Letters are limited to 500 words and one letter per writer per month is accepted.
