Four people were arrested Tuesday at a mobile home park in Sallisaw after a search of a home uncovered illegal drugs, Sallisaw Police Chief Gary Philpot said.

As a result of a drug investigation, officers with the Sallisaw Police Department served a search warrant at a mobile home park behind Don's Mobile Homes in Sallisaw at about 9 p.m. Tuesday.

Officers found methamphetamine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia in the home, and four people were arrested.

Luis Martin Zayas, 27, Arce Lopez, 24, Kevin Ray Osmon, 35, and Shonda Gail Bridge, 30, all of Sallisaw, were arrested and booked into the Sequoyah County jail in Sallisaw.

Each faces charges of possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Charges will also be filed against two others who were not at the residence during the serving of the search warrant, Philpot said.

Arce is currently being held on a $20,000 bond, and Osmon is being held on a $13,000 bond. Zayas and Bridge bonded out of jail.

The Sequoyah County Sheriff's Office also assisted in the drug investigation which led to the arrest to the four suspects.

After an experiment that lasted several months, the editors at Your TIMES decided this week to end the practice of allowing anonymous comments on our website because most of the comments involve personal attacks and unfounded accusations. These comments do not add information to a story, or add any true insight. While we believe in the free exchange of ideas, it had become evident that was not what was happening in the comment section of our website. Readers can also become fans of Your TIMES on Facebook and may comment on our postings there. Readers are also encouraged to write letters to the editor to the newspaper about matters of public interest. The newspaper circulation is several times that of the web site, so readership is much higher. Letters must include a name and phone number so that we may contact the writer to verify authenticity of the letter. Letters are limited to 500 words and one letter per writer per month is accepted.
